The light, the colours, and the atmosphere of a place is what inspires Mary’s work. Through her art she expresses the emotions felt in response to memories of places and the rhythms of life, whether it be out in the local bushland, or in an intimate interior scene. She has a particular love of colour and pattern found in nature and domestic settings.

In this painting of her parent’s bedroom, Mary is reminiscing about her childhood home, a place that holds so many memories. A space for many private conversations, moments of contemplation, youngsters playing with toys, and Saturday afternoon naps.

Artwork is available for collection or shipping after the closing date of the exhibition, February 24, 2024.

We charge a flat rate of $35 for all artworks within Australia, with an additional $5 added for each extra artwork purchased through our online store. All artworks are insured and come safely packaged. Any artwork marked for CUSTOM SHIPPING is either too large, too heavy or too delicate to ship with our flat rate and will need a custom shipping invoice.
