Inside This Box Art Prize Finalists Exhibition 2024.

Our extremely popular Art Prize INSIDE THIS BOX is back for another year! Thanks to our friends at Whiteley Ironside & Shillington Solicitors AND De Salis Wines in Orange, there will be two prizes up for grabs: the overall winner, selected by Gallery Director Madeline Young, will receive $1000 in cash sponsored by Whiteley Ironside and Shillington Solicitors. There will also be a People’s Choice Award with voters choosing their favourite work announced at the close of the exhibition, the winner will receive a Magnum of 2021 Lofty Pinot Noir from De Salis Wines.

ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS

Artists are invited to submit work of any medium or subject matter with measurements that fit within 30x30cm (this includes framing and must not exceed these dimensions).  Submitted work can be square or rectangular, or any other shape for that matter, as long as it fits inside a 30x30cm box. Artists may submit only 1 artwork each. There is a maximum retail price of $1000. WALL-MOUNTABLE WORKS ONLY. The exhibition will include the most exciting and original artworks submitted for selection from artists and designers from all over Australia.

Artworks will be selected on the following qualities:

Originality, creativity, concept, quality of work, skill shown, marketability, compatibility with our audience.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Entry fee: $30 not refundable

Entries Close: January 12th at midnight 2025

Successful entrants notified: January 14th 2025

Delivery of artworks: between 10am and 12pm January 24th OR by January 24th by courier or post.

Exhibition Dates: February 12th – 22nd 2025

Opening Night and winner announcement: Friday February 14th 6pm

PRIZES

·      The Winner will receive $1000 cash prize thanks to our generous sponsors Whitely Ironside & Shillington Solicitors

·      A People’s Choice Award will be announced after the close of the exhibition and will receive a Magnum of 2021 Lofty Pinot Noir courtesy of De Salis Wines in Orange.

HOW TO ENTER

·      Complete the application form below

·      Pay the entry fee upon submission.

·      Email at least two good quality photographs of the submitted work to cornerstoregallery@outlook.com

·      Gallery designed e-invites for artist distribution

·      Exhibition catalogue

·      Exhibition opening event

·      Documentation of exhibition and archiving on gallery website

·      Is there an entry fee? YES $30 per submission (not refundable)

·      Are all mediums accepted? NO wall-mountable works only

·      Can I submit more than 1 artwork? NO

·      Is there a size limit? YES, artworks may not exceed 30cm in any direction
