Zoe Sernack is a multidisciplinary artist based in Sydney, Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the National Art School and has dedicated over 25 years to a full-time studio practice. Her creative output spans painting, illustration, drawing, and jewellery - each medium an extension of her ongoing dialogue with the natural world.
A committed observer of her environment, Zoe's process is rooted in curiosity and deep engagement with the Australian landscape. Her richly layered, mixed media works are as much about the materiality of paint as they are about memory, feeling, and place. With an instinctive command of colour, line and texture, she explores the intersection of landscape, the subconscious, and emotional resonance.
Rather than depict, Zoe seeks to evoke. Her work invites the viewer into a sensory space - where abstracted forms stir personal connections and quiet reflections. It’s this visual language, cultivated through experience and intuition, that defines her practice.
Alongside her artmaking, Zoe has also supported the wider creative community by running gallery spaces that uplift emerging artists. With over 65 exhibitions to her name, Zoe Sernack is an established voice in contemporary Australian art - and her journey, ever-evolving, continues to unfold.
