A Past and Future Artist Collaboration

I just wanted to throw in a little background info about one of the past exhibiting artists and a future artist of The Corner Store Gallery. You might remember Ben Foster's exhibition Altered Substrate, or at least I hope you do.... Ben used to live in Newcastle where our future exhibiting artist Alex Ball (Umpel) currently resides. The two have created several public murals around Newcastle's CBD area, Ben stenciling and Alex using aerosol to paint his weird and wonderful characters.

These guys were also fortunate enough to be allowed to paint on some tsunami wrecks while travelling in Sri Lanka earlier this year. All of the photos in this blog post have been taken from both of the artist's web pages, links provided below.
