Flower Arranging with Megan Claire Floral Design

On a particularly miserable Spring Saturday some very lucky ladies participated in a beautiful afternoon of flower arranging with the gorgeous Megan Claire.  The gallery looked more like a florist with a long table setting down the middle completely covered in all sorts of different blooms and the walls decorated with stunning floral artworks by Kathleen Lane.  Megan showed us all how to braid palm fronds, which is a lot harder than it sounds....  We learnt about different types of arrangements, how to make your fresh flowers last as long as possible, how to trim them, and all about proportioning your display.  We started by filling out our vase with foliage and then graduated to blooms. With endless and abundant choices of blooms and foliage we all made totally different and unique displays.  See for yourself below.....
