Jo Fernandez has been painting since 2004 when she moved from Sydney to the charming village of Millthorpe in the Central Tablelands of NSW. 

Her work is inspired by the rural vistas of this region - vast expanses of land and sky, the distinct seasons and their impact on light and colour - and is drawn to the elements of landscape that she responds to emotionally, like clouds that by their very essence reflect the fleeting nature of life. 

As a landscape painter, Jo’s work is representational using colour and tone to accentuate nature. Her use of glazing - applying thin layers of transparent oil paint – achieves a luminosity, as the colour result is a composite of the various layers. “My aim is to capture the illusive quality of light and create an atmospheric sense of place.”

Artwork is available for collection or shipping within 7 days of purchase.

We charge a flat rate of $35 for all artworks within Australia, with an additional $5 added for each extra artwork purchased through our online store. All artworks are insured and come safely packaged. Any artwork marked for CUSTOM SHIPPING is either too large, too heavy or too delicate to ship with our flat rate and will need a custom shipping invoice.

All online artwork sales are final and no refunds or returns will be accepted.
