Michelle is a Sydney based artist with a strong history in Fine Arts and Visual Art education. She has enjoyed both solo and group exhibitions, fulfilled significant commissions, has work in both private and public collections and has been a finalist in a number of prizes including the Mosman Art Prize, the Burwood Art Prize, the National Emerging Artist Prize 2022 and was awarded the Mosman Rowers inaugural Acquisitive Art Prize as judged and awarded by Ken Done. She has been awarded a Visual Arts Residency in the State Library of NSW in 2025.

“Rome I“ responds to ancient facades at the height of the Italian summer and reflects the artists ongoing focus on the built environment as a vehicle for story telling. Michelle finds much inspiration in cultural and architectural distinctions but also resonates with the purity of Edward Hopper’s statement - “I just wanted to paint sunlight on the side of the house“.
