This collection of paintings captures the fleeting beauty of a gardens seasonal changes. Spring has the innocence of fresh blossoms, verdant landscapes nourished by winter rains & warming soils. Summer bursts forth with a new layer of blooms bathing in long daylight hours , swaying in breezes and flowers forming seed heads to continue their life cycle. The gardens borrowed landscape is a backdrop of greys & greens providing a foil for the kaleidoscope of colour in the domestic garden.
A full time artist , Dee Roberts was raised on a rural property in Central NSW. Dee has along association with the visual arts, including drawing, ceramics, print making, painting at National art school, TAFE, Willoughby Art Centre. Dee has a Bachelor of Applied Arts, with a long career as a Conservator at Sydneys Powerhouse Museum, contract exhibition conservator work at Hazelhurst Regional Gallery, NSW Parliament House & Sydney University Art Gallery.
