Fleur completed an art residency with Cloudbough in Kandos, NSW and this series of abstract works is a response to her time spent in Wiradjuri Country.

Fleur hopes to convey new landscapes informed from an emotive response to the Ferntree Gully tracks and Capertee Valley. Each artwork considers the physicality of an emotive response, whether it’s a calming, feminine space or a rugged, mountainous environment and the relationships between experiencing a place and being immersed in a landscape.

Fleur Stevenson is a New Zealand born, Sydney based abstract artist, who creates layered, textural works which investigate the compositional relationships, from the social and physical environments she visits.

Working with acrylic and spray paint, Fleur’s work explores memory, personal history and place. She is interested in translating memories from personal experiences and each painting considers the physical environment and the associated ideas, feelings and emotions and the space the memories occupy on the surface.

Artwork is available for collection or shipping within 7 days of purchase.

We charge a flat rate of $35 for all artworks within Australia, with an additional $5 added for each extra artwork purchased through our online store. All artworks are insured and come safely packaged. Any artwork marked for CUSTOM SHIPPING is either too large, too heavy or too delicate to ship with our flat rate and will need a custom shipping invoice.
