Sophie is an Orange-based artist, mother of two young daughters, and a vibrant storyteller through her whimsical acrylic paintings. Her work captures the essence of regional and suburban Australian life, inspired by her upbringing in a small farming community in NSW and her experiences living in major cities around the world, including Paris. With a playful, nostalgic touch, Sophie’s art explores the contrasts between rural and urban landscapes, celebrating the personalities and stories of regional communities.

Her work has been featured in galleries across Australia and is held in collections worldwide. Sophie was a finalist in the 2024 Regional Landscape Art Prize and the 2023 Jumbled Art Competition.
