Amanda Ogilby is a Margaret River artist known for her atmospheric and refined still life oil paintings. Her work balances a modern aesthetic with traditional techniques, showcasing a strong foundation in representational realism and a sensitivity to light, tone, and detail. Each piece pairs carefully chosen homewares, florals, and seasonal produce to create quietly evocative compositions with a sense of calm and presence.

Inspired by a creative upbringing and a return to painting later in life, Amanda now works exclusively in oils - drawn to their depth and subtlety. Her practice is both contemplative and intuitive, shaped by a deep appreciation for beauty in the everyday.

Vintage Bottle and Lemons is a still life that pairs collected ceramics and glass, with elements of new growth. Freshly picked lemons and a sprig of Eucalyptus inspired this composition with the intention of evoking calm and serenity.
