My name is Jacklyn Foster, and I’m a full-time contemporary artist based in Mildura, Regional Victoria. I specialise in bold acrylic paintings inspired by everyday life, local produce, and nostalgic objects. My work combines vibrant colour palettes and playful compositions to tell meaningful stories and spark joy.

I’ve worked on major public art projects like Me & Uoo Uoo for the Royal Children’s Hospital’s 150th anniversary and received the Fortyfivedownstairs 2021 Emerging Artist Award.

"4 Olives" captures the warmth of summer and the joy of spending time with loved ones, reflecting over the recent holidays. The bold, vibrant colours of the martini and its four olives reflect a sense of celebration and intimacy, inspired by joyful gatherings and life’s simple pleasures. Through its playful composition, I hope to share a little snapshot of happiness that feels both personal and universal.
