My career began after completing a Bachelor of Education in Art & Craft with major studies in Textile design & Metalwork. With a strong interest in the fashion industry and a special interest in knitwear and textile design I was lured to New York and developed into a successful knitwear designer. I worked for a number of companies in the USA including Liz Claiborne accessories and later Jennifer Reed where I had the opportunity to design private label for many major department stores including Macy's, Bloomingdales, Saks and Nordstrom.

My love for fashion and accessories, colour and design inspired me to open my own retail stores in Melbourne when I returned to Australia.I spent the next 10 years running my own retail stores.

In 2014, after a 10 year hiatus I returned to my first love, painting. I now work as a full time painter.
