My artistic journey began when I was young, where I found joy in drawing and painting, dreaming of becoming an art teacher. Although I pursued a degree in Art and Design focusing on Fine Art, life took me on a different path, and my passion for painting was set aside.

Over 35 years later, I have reignited my love for painting, delving deeper into the captivating world of still life. I thrive on arranging objects to narrate tales, evoke nostalgia, and breathe new life into overlooked treasures. The allure of blue and white, a passion inherited from my mother, permeates my work. Exploring reflections in my art has become a captivating endeavour, adding depth and intrigue to my creations.

For this painting I chose a tea pot I found in an op shop and included a blue and white tea towel reflecting in the tea pot and the table. so this painting includes all the things I love.
