Since returning to her art and having the room to set up a home studio, Amanda has successfully exhibited in a number of selective group exhibitions in Orange, Blayney, Moree, Tamworth, Brisbane and Cowra as well as a significant solo exhibition at the Corner Store Gallery in Orange in April 2024.

In addition to these exhibitions, Amanda has been a finalist in: the Corner Store Gallery’s Landscape prize (2022); Mudgee Arts Precinct (MAP)’s Portrait Prize 2022; the Hunters Hill art prize (2022 & 2023); and the Lethbridge Small Works art prize (2023), among others, as well as being awarded winner of the Cabonne Acquisitive Art Prize in 2021 and Highly Commended in the Lachlan Valley Biennial Art Prize 2023.

Amanda has a Diploma in Building Design, an iscd Cert IV in Design and an iscd Diploma in Creative Visual Arts [specialising in Interior Decoration].

"An afternoon roaming the wonderful Adventure Playground and lookout at nearby Cowra inspired the subject of this painting. I am so captivated by the stunning rocks and boulders of this area and how they beautifully complement the gorgeous gumtrees. On this particular day, though the weather was cool and the mist was still rising after midday, the children visiting there were having a fabulous time running along the pathways and hiding behind the large rocks. So in this painting I decided to add my own group of imaginary playmates clambering over the rocks, to create an even more playful scene and to capture that childhood exuberance in a quintessential Australian setting."

Artwork is available for collection or shipping after the closing date of the exhibition, September 22nd 2024.

We charge a flat rate of $35 for all artworks within Australia, with an additional $5 added for each extra artwork purchased through our online store. All artworks are insured and come safely packaged. Any artwork marked for CUSTOM SHIPPING is either too large, too heavy or too delicate to ship with our flat rate and will need a custom shipping invoice.

All online artwork sales are final and no refunds or returns will be accepted.
