The stunning scenery of the mallee scrub near Mildura is indeed captivating.  Spotting a track leading off into the bush even more so!  To ponder its destination and solitary location is particularly alluring!  

This scene was captured at a perfect time of the day with the shadows stretching across the red earth  playing with the blues of the saltbush.

Moving back to the country became the catalyst for Amanda Holman to pursue her dream of becoming a full-time artist.

Inspiration to capture the beauty of the countryside evolved from a childhood in the township of Mudgee NSW, a country town surrounded by hills with everchanging colours, rivers framed by ancient rivergums, and seasonal windswept pastures.

Now living in Orange, Amanda has found the surrounding scenery to be a fuel for the senses. 

Amanda’s pursuit of landscapes that capture the essence of Australia and the Australian light is paramount in her practice.  To create scenes that evoke a sense of connection to the country and a feeling of tranquillity and restfulness is her objective. 

Beyond 4 Walls is a collection of works in which Amanda seeks to portray the awe-inspiring beauty of the country around us.

Shipping:

Artwork is available for collection or shipping after the closing date of the exhibition, April 20th 2024.

We charge a flat rate of $35 for all artworks within Australia, with an additional $5 added for each extra artwork purchased through our online store. All artworks are insured and come safely packaged. Any artwork marked for CUSTOM SHIPPING is either too large, too heavy or too delicate to ship with our flat rate and will need a custom shipping invoice.

All online artwork sales are final and no refunds or returns will be accepted.
