This work is the initial piece that formed the direction for my most recent collection of work where I was interested in exploring how my memories subconsciously come through in my work. I began this work by intentionally exploring first washes and stains with a particular focus on exploring a new found softness in my practice. As layers built an impression of a landscape was revealed, initially I thought imagined but later realised it resembled the headland I walk my dog on most mornings. The name 'Shadow Memory' felt appropriate as I feel this is a good description for our subconscious mind, something that shadows our memory and a place I have realised my work best comes from.

Artwork is available for collection or shipping after the closing date of the exhibition, September 22nd 2024.

We charge a flat rate of $35 for all artworks within Australia, with an additional $5 added for each extra artwork purchased through our online store. All artworks are insured and come safely packaged. Any artwork marked for CUSTOM SHIPPING is either too large, too heavy or too delicate to ship with our flat rate and will need a custom shipping invoice.

All online artwork sales are final and no refunds or returns will be accepted.
