I am a Melbourne-born visual artist and author based in Gippsland, Victoria, and I’ve been a practising artist for 18 years. Street scenes, urban landscapes, storefronts, music venues, and historic buildings are my primary subjects. My painting of Jerry's Milkbar is a piece from my current series of iconic Melbourne structures. I have held several solo exhibitions throughout Victoria, and I have also exhibited interstate. I have completed a number of private commissions, and I have been shortlisted for several major art prizes throughout Australia including the Fleurieu Art Prize in South Australia, the Hornsby Art Prize and Paddington Art Prize in NSW, and the Flanagan Art Prize in Victoria. In 2015 and 2016 I was selected as a finalist in the CityScapes competition in Florida, USA. I have also published a series of books about the Australian blues scene: “Blues Portrait” Volumes 1, 2, 3 and 4, and I recently won the Melbourne Blues Appreciation Society Allan Stafford Award for Services to Blues Music.
