Sophie is a Noosa-based abstract artist, currently exploring a free flowing, spherical form in her painting practice. Her work is influenced by her seaside lifestyle and her admiration for minimalist Japanese design. Over the years Sophie has completed various studies, including ‘Abstraction’ at The Byron School Of Art in 2017. In 2023 Sophieaccelerated her practice and exhibited in several group shows around Australia in 2024. She was a Finalist in the 2024 Art to Art Emerging Artist Competition.

My painting practice celebrates my love of colour and quest for harmony. ‘Onwards’ is an artwork about moving on - moving forwards and achieving balance. As I get older I’m refining the layers of who and what I spend my time and energy on.
