Yani captures a sense of cheerfulness through the use of bright colours and interesting shapes, creating works that exude vibrancy and charm. By focusing on still life, she strives to reveal the inherent beauty of everyday objects, transforming them into detailed artworks that are both captivating and uplifting.

In "Prickly Prawn", I decided to pair the organic shape of the prawn with the patterned background to create a playful juxtaposition of forms, while the warm colour palette enhances the artwork's vibrant, contemporary style.
