I'm a dedicated and passionate emerging artist working from the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

With my latest series of paintings I reference the suburban neighbourhood at night. Many of my paintings depict the dark shadowy shapes of trees, gardens, houses, telegraph poles and other objects seen in a typical Australian neighbourhood. What appeals for me is the glow emanating from windows, pools illuminated in the moonlight and street lights that reveal the road, trees and cars in their vicinity. Painting this time of night encourages a focus on colour value and temperature, both are important to me in depicting mood and the essence of an Australian era that I remember with fondness.
